Two Deaths... One animal hospital – I first starting going to Dr. Drake when my puppy became sick out of the blue. Dr. Drake had no idea what was wrong with her so he began experimenting with different medications. He ended up giving her a medication that HAD BEEN TAKEN OFF THE MARKET because it caused some dogs to become anemic. Well guess what my dog became anemic and died. I wouldn't go anywhere else – My family has taken our 3 dogs here for over 10 years. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Last year, our dog ate a squirrel and needed emergency surgery. After the surgery they allowed us to visit him as often and as long as we wanted. Despite having an IV and a catheter, you could tell they made every effort to make him comfortable for the 2 days he stayed after words.
