History Established in 1960. Initial started when city limits ended at 75th street. Had only outside runs for boarders. No longer use now. Do operate in most all Veterinary Services. Meet the Business Owner Dr Phil D. Business Owner Started in Pre-Med, switched to Pre-Vet while working at a Heart research institute part of Med School. Did 4 yrs in Navy, going to Hospital Corps School as well as Pharmacy School. Then to undergraduate and finally graduation from Veterinary School at Ohio State 1975

Countryside Animal Clinic is A+ for animal treatment! It is a great lil animal practice and kennel! The vet lives on site, which is an added plus! the kennels are older, but clean. the animals are treated well, and come back home healthy and happy! I have switched my vet! i now bring all my animals to Dr. Hudgins, at Countryside! I have three dogs, and a cat. I have never seen the Doctor overcharge, and I have not had any complaints! If you need vet services or boarding for your pets, I really recommend Countryside!
Money hungry! Although Dr. Hudgens was informative. I paid $38.00 for 60 pills of Phenobarbital that he called Phena-vet for my dog seizures. I thought I was being over changed but I was not sure so I paid him a fee of $95.00 total. Dr, Hudgens charged me $35.00 for the office visit I was ok with that, $22.00 for a antibiotic injection, and $38.00 for 60 pills. Now, I called around and the pills should have cost no more that .20 cents per pill for the low doses that my dog needed (1/4 gr). I will never go to this Dr. again o... read more
Animal care that works, plus saves you money I love Dr. Hudgens. He doesn't do a lot of tests because he believes that testing is hard on animals. The vet clinic I used to go to did all sorts of tests. I stayed there for years and paid their outrageous prices because I thought they knew what they were doing. I finally left when they did a complete blood profile on my cat. They couldn't decide if it was a kidney infection or a bladder infection. Reasonably priced Groomer I took my small long haired dog in for grooming. I made a same day appointment and they got me in. The price was reasonable and they did a good job. I'd go back if I still lived in the area.
