New to the area, placed a takeout order for rib platter(4 ribs) the outer meat on the ribs was so dried out that it was like leather, could not eat it. The chicken livers were dried out also, the tip of corn on the cob was black I think where it was rotten. Not appetizing. The restaurant smelled really good when I walked in. But will not go back
Very disappointed in Country’s Barbecue in LaGrange and, especially, how management handled our situation. My husband recently had dental surgery and has to be very careful about what he eats. Before placing our order, I called Country’s Barbecue specifically to ask if the BBQ chicken could be shredded for him. I was told yes, so I placed the order based on that. Take out for a hungry group of 10!! Outstanding and even had leftovers!
I had a pick up order so the service was okay - no complaints there. The ribs were tough and flavorless as were the collars and potato salad, I was very disappointed.
