Spent a half hour in this quilt shop with a few hundred dollars in my pocket begging to be spent on fabric. Not one person who worked there acknowledged my presence. Took my business to a friendlier quilt shop. UPDATE: A few days after my visit to Country Treasures we went back to Chester for lunch at a nearby restaurant. I drive down from Montpelier because you guys are my favorite quilt shop!
OH my.....this place us a QUILTERS DREAM!! They make you feel at home the minute you walk in! Plan to stay for hours.....Drove up from King George VA with my husband, only stipulation was he had to take me to a quilt shop!! I WILL BE BACK!! Thanks ladies!
What a wonderful find in Chester, VT! We had a quilting retreat at the Fullerton Inn on the Common in Chester, and what a delight to have the gang at Country Treasures literally right next door. They carry a huge variety of fabrics and the staff is so knowledgeable and helpful; we even got a demo on a new technique! I wish they were closer, but I'll drive the 1.5 hours because they are worth it! <3
