Booked for a colleague, but his trip got cancelled . Tried to ask them to allow us to change dates to 1 week later, but the answer was no and we got charged for 2 nights. The room was then onsold again as there was no availability when we checked later … Good business strategy

Well priced hotel in Queanbeyan with great hosts . They provide a delicious menu for dinner and breakfast with very attentive service . The rooms are comfortable with electric blanket and a good aircon which keeps you warm.

I stayed for one night in Room 29 and had a very unpleasant experience. At check-in, the older man at the reception gave me an access card and mentioned that it might take a few tries to open the door because of the cold weather, something I found odd. It ended up taking me 10 minutes to get into the room, and I assumed that was just how their system worked. We travel a lot for work and have stayed at a lot of accommodation. This has been the most horrible and awful customer service experience we have ever had in the last 3 years of staying in various accomodations. The owners Ronalyn and Murray called me and threatened to get our car towed away the day of checkout. There had been a medical emergency, we checked out of the room before 10am and left the car there only for one hour after checkout, it was 11am when they threatened to tow the car. I booked online directly with the motel website & stayed 3 nights. The room was very well fitted out - including mini bar, bath robes & quality bath sheets instead of towels. The staff were very friendly & had the room heater on prior to my arrival. The bed was extremely comfortable & the shower was great. Its nice to see when a business makes the effort to go beyond expectations.
