Trolley rd. My grandma hated here One of the things she told me is she was not allowed to choose where she could sit in the dining room, assigned seating. If she choose to eat in the dining room, they would force her to sit next to the same person who was coughing and hacking throughout the meal. They would scold her if she moved to another seat. She told me that she ate every meal alone in her room because of that.

My Mother, now 89 Years old, became a resident at County Meadows, West York, in January 2018. She was initially in the Personal Care Section, since she was recovering from a back procedure. The staff was very helpful and attentive to her needs. She made friends with her care givers and stay in touch with them still. Upon gaining strength and stamina, she moved the Independant Living Section. She is there still and will remain there until such time as the IL Section is no longer the correct fit for her. My experience with Country Meadows York West has been exceptional. My mom receives excellent care from the attentive and caring staff. The food provided is top-notch, and the variety of activities available is great. I highly recommend Country Meadows York West for anyone looking for a place that provides outstanding care and services for their loved ones.

My 91-year-old father stayed at Country Meadows' York-West facility for roughly 2 months in the Pathways program following a fall that required extended rehab. The entire staff was attentive, kind, and engaging with him and treated him warmly, like family. There are regular events at the facility, including movie nights, performances from local musicians, and even happy hour several times a week! My mother was here and I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff that was really more like family to my mother and myself. The amount of fabulous activities kept my mother busy and very happy! Everyone, from the salesperson, Tammy, to the receptionists, nurses, food staff, custodians, CNA’s and activities directors, hospice and executive director, everyone was kind and caring.
