This should be zero stars! What a total disappointment! I stayed at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Dubuque, IA, and I honestly can’t believe how bad it was for nearly $300 a night! I stayed in the 1-bedroom "suite" — big, yes, but it felt empty and cheap. The room was dirty and smelled musty: candy and dog hair behind the bathroom door, rust stains on the floor, and a disgusting vent packed with dust and gunk. Honestly, the room was not cleaned fully. The front desk was typically empty with a sign “ be right back”. When staff was present they were friendly. Breakfast was fine on Sunday, however scares & not so good Monday- Wednesday almost nothing but biscuits and gravy ( 3 biscuits small amt of gravy) sausage links on Monday no meat at all on Tuesday or Wednesday. Had a moldy/mildew strong smell with what appeared to be possible mold/mildew on the wall under the window. Higher priced and they reported it was full so unable to accommodate a different room. Left after attempting to air out for a few hours. I’m not one to complain this extreme but I feel this is necessary to get fixed.
