I was looking for a new local restaurant to eat and I found this place. My husband is very picky about food but when we ate from this restaurant, we were very pleased. The food was very good. I had the trout, baby shrimp, green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. The baby shrimp I was expecting far exceeded what I thought. They were nice size shrimp for them to be baby shrimp. I would give this place no stars if I could. For starters the food was mediocre cafeteria food. I ordered a steak and my husband seafood and both were unseasoned and very bland. The sides tasted horrible, lima beans had to be out of can and cooked in old butter. The hushpuppies were burnt to crisp and tasted as if they had been cooked in old grease. The sweet tea was instant sour tea with artificial sweetener. I hate to leave a review like this but I wasted too much money on this place just to throw it away and order a pizza... read more
