I took my truck for body work. Had to go back about 5 times to gets some tihngs redone. Then I find out that thery put after market parrts on and had issues with the replacement side mirror. First one, the chrome started to peel after about 6 - 8 months. The second one started to discolour about 6 months later. Took it back and was told the warranty had expired and there was nothing they could do. That is when I was told they used after market part.
