My wife and I had a lovely experience here. I like watching the sunrise and the deck faces east. The location has great views and the historic nature of the house is interesting. It’s convenient to town and peninsulas for dining or wine tours. Misty and Eric are accommodating and you can even talk in the kitchen. They know the area well and offered local options tailored to our likes.
Loved staying at this B & B. The food was wonderful, the 2 people who run this place were pleasent and extremely helpful. It was a great stay! The rooms were clean and when a glitch happen, they took care of things quickly and efficiently. Would stay there again in a heartbeat 💓
Amazing B&B experience in my favorite part of Michigan! Eric and Misty welcomed me warmly as soon as I arrived, and I enjoyed our conversations throughout my stay. It’s a beautiful Victorian farmhouse, quiet, comfortable, and includes a delicious homemade, gourmet breakfast. Hospitality at its finest!
We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay than Country Hermitage. Eric and Misty were such kind and welcoming innkeepers, and they truly have something special when it comes to the property, amenities, and the overall way they take care of their guests. An absolutely incredible gem in the heart of Traverse City. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and celebrate our engagement weekend. The hosts were so warm and welcoming - cannot say enough good things about the Michelin Star breakfast!!!
