Got lost looking for a county campground that no longer exists. Called this place up on the Saturday of a long weekend, not expecting them to have any space for my trailer. Hearing they had space for me on a LONG WEEKED, had me a little worried that it wasn't a very good place to go. But.... what a surprise. Very quiet, very private, with a Very friendly owner. Very clean! The host is wonderfully pleasant and helped use as we arrived late. I would stay again!
Truly a hidden gem in the region! If you're looking to get away and connect with nature, this is the perfect spot. The cabins are spotless--and the sites offer privacy and tranquillity.
The experience was excellent. The fire pits needed grates so you could make coffee in the pot.
