It was a great experience! I loved meeting the monkey's and leaning about the history
I've been to the Country Boy mine several times over the past several decades since it first opened, and always enjoy the experience when we're in Breckenridge. John, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable and we had a private tour as the ski resort had closed and very few people in town in the early "mud" season. It's a quick drive to get there with beautiful views and the tour is very interesting. We always learn new things from our guides. Fun excursion when the ski slopes were closed due to poor snow this season.
We have experienced several of the adventures at Country Boy Mine and have had an absolute blast each time! Great for all ages - explore, have fun, learn something new! The staff is also super friendly and knowledgeable!
Fun Historic tour. Guide was awesome it was very cool going back in mining history!
We did our employee outing at the mine and had the best time. The guide was so fun, friendly, and informational. We were not sure if we would pan for gold but once we tried it we ended up panning for 40 minutes! Definitely recommend this experience to anyone coming to Breck (especially if you like rocks and/or history)
