Took my puppy in, Dr. Gene Metzger truly disappointed me. He gave my puppy medicine and before leaving I asked Metzger if it was normal the way my puppy was breathing? He tells me he doped her up with so much morphine she'll probably be this way till tomorrow morning. He didn't bother to take a look at her as they were already closing & I guess in a hurry to leave he said "We aren't staying open all night for one dog, you can take her somewhere where they are open 24 hours if you want." Very disappointed in Country Animal Clinic. We’ve been taking our dogs there for years. Last week I tried to get my 12 year old Daschund in because he has blood in his urine and they wanted me to wait 2 days. No questions asked just “We can’t get him in until Saturday” NEVER taking our dogs back. Not very compassionate.

Been taking my pets to this clinic since 1984. Some of the staff members still work there - Dr. Metzger and Dr. Locke along with most of the staff are the best of the best as far as I'm concerned. They care & they show it. E. Zarate

Place your Pets in Good Hands* Country Animal Clinic is such a great clinic with an awesome visiting/appointment system, with reasonable prices for their services. Very well, friendly and experienced staff. I've taken all my dogs there, they've had all their needed vaccines there. Actually we recently took our current family dog to get neutered there. very Trustworthy and caring. I highly recommend it, never had to put a complaint. Go today and start a great adventure!

Best vet ever This vet is amazing!! Dr Metzger is the best doctor ever. He truly cares for the animals! Because of him my dog Stitch is still alive!!!! The staff is very nice and helpful. They were amazing to my dog and to my fiance and I. Thank you Country Animal Clinic!

Great Vet! I took my 5 yr. old cat in due to her losing a couple of teeth and she was also in need of vaccines. The staff was pleasant and helpful, The doctor was very informative and did not try to rip me off and explained procedures before performing them and I wasn't charged for anything that wasn't discussed and agreed upon. He was very gentle with her and seemed to really care for the animals there that day. The facility was clean and kid-friendly (as I had my son with me). I would recommend this clinic to others. Great Clinic! I have been living in Chino for about 19 years now and have been taking my dogs there ever since. The doctor is absolutely caring and you can tell he is really there to help out the animals, not just someone who is looking for the paycheck. The Vet. is always there to give me great advice, answers all my questions and does not try to rip me off at all. Highly Recommended Pet Care Country Animal Clinic is run by very warm, friendly, and caring staff. They do everything they can to give your pet the best care possible. Their prices are affordable too. When my last dog passed away it was very traumatic and the office sent a handwritten note to our house signed by everyone that worked there. It was so sweet and thoughtful.
