It is one thing to advocate for a client, it is quite another to coach the client to lie under oath. The firm's (very) junior attorney Jillian Connery lied continually throughout the process (about subpoenas, witnesses, evidence, receipt of process) and brought a case that was easily dismissed by the hearing officer despite the respondent's not being represented by counsel. I had a 30-minute consultation with Michael Wales and unfortunately found it to be disappointing. He spoke very slowly and didn’t seem interested in advocating for me or understanding my concerns. He made it clear that he was only offering legal opinions, not representation, and came across as dismissive rather than supportive.
