Showed up to my 3rd appointment and the counselor was not there. No call to let me know. It’s 7-8 miles one way from home! (25$ no show fee for me) They went ahead and put me with another lady that day (on my behalf) which I unwillingly accepted. On the 2nd or 3rd appointment with her, she was a no show. My therapist is wonderful! I've been able to work through a number of things while going my own pace and it's been such a relief to me. I can be as open and honest as I need to be and that's how therapy should be. I'm very grateful to have found this place. The receptionists are always friendly and helpful, I have had no bad experiences here. ❤️
I was referred here by a local psychiatrist's office. One problem is they set me up with a counselor that my beliefs, and her beliefs were a very bad mix! The other major problem was that the counselor seemed to not make the connection about how some of my medical issues, like hormonal issues, and my insomnia from those medical issues were causing some mental health problems, and that nothing that she was going to say was going to change that. Walked up to the receptionist desk & instead of being greeted, I was simply stared at. Poor customer service. I haven’t had any counseling services here, just a poor experience with the receptionists.
I love my therapist! The staff and therapists are extremely friendly and polite. If you are able to I would definitely recommend scheduling an appointment.
