I found Counseling in Comfort the same way many of you probably do...by Googling therapists who specialize in ADHD and dyslexia in children. Melisa is a truly wonderful therapist, and my daughter absolutely loves her. She has a direct, no-nonsense approach, but there’s also a gentleness to her that makes you feel supported right away. I worked with Melissa for marriage counselling. Her approach was to gain understanding of the issues and work towards a path of understanding and resolution. During the session it became 100% obvious my spouse was incapable of either of those. The couples session and solo session also provided me with the clarity that the root cause of the problem was her long-term and unresolved mental health conditions.
