My wife and I were having tremendous difficulties trying to get an appointment with a licensed clinical psychologist to conduct an autism evaluation for our six-year-old son, Maximilian. The earliest any of our in-network psychologists could schedule an evaluation was seven months out. Max was struggling in school and our district was unwilling to provide the services to which he was entitled without a professional diagnosis.
