Cougar Country Drive In has been a part of this town for quite some time. Since we first opened up back in 1973, we've been serving everything fresh and made to order, just the way a hot meal ought to be. Families, college students, and people looking for great food have found all sorts of delicious things on our menu: hearty burgers, baskets, hot dogs, our malts & shakes, and our special fry sauce (something that borders on addicting). Year after year, we've been inspiring nostalgia in our guests, and we can't wait for you ... read more

EXCELLENT FOOD Cougar Country has AMAZING food-especially burgers and milk shakes. If I want a really good burger or halibut basket I hit there. A little slow on service, but the wait is well worth it.
Burger and fries at the Drive In! I love stopping at Cougar Country for a fish sandwich whenever I am in town, especially on game days! The burgers are delicious and juicy, too. I love the fries...old school for sure, and using the fry sauce is a must! Most people love the milkshakes because they're good and thick. To me, the milkshakes are the ultimate throw back, kind of a reminder of the good ole days! Check out Cougar Country next time you're in Cougar Country.
Not a place to be if you're a Husky! The food is really good, and reasonably priced. Good, 50s style drive in. Unfortunately, not a good place to be on Apple Cup as a Husky - take it from experience! I definitely recommend Cougar Country if you are ever in Pullman.
50's style drive-in This place offers great burgers at reasonable prices. Drive-in style diner from the 50's. Great milkshakes with a variety of flavors. This is a favorite place for food among students and alumni
Always keeps you coming back Cougar Country is one of those places that you see both families and college roommates enjoying a delicious meal. Their prices are unbeatable and almost every time you visit they have a new, special price on one of their menu items. Absolutely everything is top-notch, from the gigantic Super Basket burgers to the crispy chicken wings. I have never had a negative experience at this restaurant.
Ordered fish fillet and the fish only filled about one third of the bun. If you don’t have a fillet that fills the bun don’t sell the product. Cougar country has gone downhill!!!
Service is lousy. Employees on there phones and not paying any attention to the customer. Burgers are dry and fries look like they were reheated in the microwave. Owners need to pay attention to there products and employees
Ordered online and when I get to the restaurant me and two other people are standing at the window waiting for the front end staff to get off their phones and help us. Finally they help us and when it's my turn at the window there is a cook sitting on the counter in the kitchen. Get home and there is no fry sauce in the bag and the fry are old and hard. Please get it together.
Everything I ordered they were out of. Go round and round to find something my child would want and then find out that they DID have the first thing I ordered. Called my number and my order was wrong. Not a pleasant experience.
