This company filed a fraudulent claim for contacts (which I never asked for, ordered or received) with my eye insurance company when I had my exam here. When I went to get a reimbursement for ones I purchased from Walgreens, was told Cottonwood Vision had already used up that $$. I wonder how many other fraudulent insurance claims they've filed?

Disappointing – While the employees were kind and quick to check me in for my appointment, I was VERY disappointed and shocked at the lack of time the Optometrist actually took to look at my eyes. I hadn't been to the eye doctor in over 5 years, and they didn't dilate my eyes, test for glaucoma; the whole exam literally took 5 minutes! Then for my supposed contact lense fitting exam they told me to put in the type of contact lenses I was already wearing. What kind of fitting is that?! Disappointing service and competence – BEWARE: Disappointing service, serious mistakes and frightening lack of competence. I was a long-time client of Cottonwood Vision but in the past three years I have watched their professionalism deteriorate, their service decline and their carelessness and mistakes grow worse. I am sorry to say that I will never return to this clinic; my eyes are too precious to trust to people who are unable to do their jobs properly any more.

Very Helpful Staff – I felt the staff was very helpful. I have read the last review and fortunately I had a completely different experience. Although their prices are not the cheapest in town, their selection and the quality of glasses was much better than my last eye doctor. I also found the doctor to be very knowledgeable (I think it was Dr. Carlisle). We have taken our family there for years and have been very pleased.

I will never go back – The office staff does not listen to you as a customer. I had to give them my new insurance information 3 times. Their frames are limited and very expensive. They talk over you and they do not explain what everything is. They are more about making a big sale then fitting you with the right pair of glasses. They lie to you time and time again. can you pick 0 stars? – I would not go back. Staff gave bad information more than once. When I called to try to get some resolution, Doctor said he thought I should go elsewhere. Probably the best advice he has given great idea! If you need a good doctor and good service go somewhere else.

The place to go for your eyes! – When I walked in to Cottonwood for the first time their office was very crowded. I soon found out why - their service and selection was the best I had experienced in a number of years. Despite all the people in the office, I was seen on time for my appointment. They had really nice equipment including a new machine that takes a picture of your eyes so you don't have to be dilated! The best eye doctor in Albuquerque – Overall we had a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and they had a great selection. I went there with my wife and three kids, and we all needed glasses except for my youngest daughter. They had great prices that worked well with what our insurance covered. This was the best experience we have had at the eye doctors office. We will be sending all our friends there!
