Paid off my title loan back in 2020. Went to the DMV to get a new title thinking I just misplaced it. Found out that it still wasn't released. Went to the Cashstore to be told I had a $2k balance, that I paid 5 years ago. The employee that I worked with was apparently fired (potential theft was what I was told) and yet, I still don't have my title! They want me to double pay for it to get it back.
