My dog had previously had been there and had surgery for something he had eaten. It happened again. They drag you through the same bullshit and try to make as much money as possible. We had a terrifying moment when our dog grabbed one of my heart pills that had fallen on the floor and swallowed it before we could react. Thankfully, the VCA Animal Hospital was open, and their team immediately sprang into action. From the moment we walked in, they were calm, compassionate, and incredibly efficient. We love this hospital. We've taken both of our dogs to this location amd Both times we were very impressed with the caring staff. It's very clean. Well run, and the staff is friendly. Very empathetic and knowledgeable doctors and technicians. We will continue to use this hospital.
I am looking into vets in Utah after a long absence. It was very disappointing to see that Cottonwood Animal Hospital has been sold to VCA animal hospitals. VCA animals hospitals are owned by Mars, Inc. The same company that makes M&Ms and Mars candy bars. VCA animal hospitals is a publicly traded entity which means they are likely more interested in their shareholders and profits than they are about you or your animals. Proceed with caution.
