I went there having low expectation from hearing horror stories, but I have had an overall great experience, with the customer service rick gave me I would recommend everyone to go here and the transmission they built for me is something I would have expected to have paid double for.Thanks to the team there for everything!

Recently, I was driving from my home town in NC back to Orlando, FL where I now live. My engine light came on and my car started acting funny while heading South on I-77. Concerned, I called my husband, and he said it sounded like a transmission problem. After googling, he suggested that I immediately take it to the Cottman's in Cornelius as I was very near this exit. Rick was most helpful with my transmission repairs, I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality work and even better customer service!
My clutch slave cylinder blew out in traffic on 77 and Rick was able to find a reasonable tow service, source and install parts in a day, and put my transmission back together better than new. This is a good shop with reasonable rates and great service.
