Honest and affordable service!! When my car broke down, I was told by my normal garage that I needed diagnostics and it was likely engine-related. After getting my car re-towed to Cottman's, Tim called and had found that the only problem was that my car had been accidentally filled with diesel instead of gas (accidents happen lol)! What I was expecting to be a costly repair turned out to be something so minor and our normal garage didn't even think to check it. Thank you, Cottmans! I will send more business your way! :)

Cottman was the only transmission place in town that would listen to me! My '01 Dakota was having problems in reverse... Racine Transmission and Govednik both wanted to pull the whole transmission and take it apart! I was hoping it only needed a replacement seal on the valve body. Cottman was willing to check it for me. Quoted at a couple hundred, came out to be $190, and fixed the problem perfectly! The most honest and reliable auto repair shop I have even done business with. I took my vehicles to Cottman for years while I lived in Racine, and every time I was pleased with the service. I was always told up front everything that would need to be done-what was completely necessary and what could wait.
