My wife and I stayed here this Summer. The location has beautiful scenery. The cottage has nice decor, is clean, and the bed is comfortable. The restaurant didn't serve dinner any of the days we stayed (Mon-Wed) which was very disappointing and meant that we had to drive back into Clayton through construction. The cottage did not offer a freezer either (only a mini fridge), so no onsite dinner and no freezer meant we could not enjoy drinks with ice in the evening unless we drove back into Clayton. We just visited a piece of heaven. It's called Julep Farms. Every detail has been done to perfection. Such a beautiful venue for any event. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and personable. Special thanks to Lauren, Emily and Emanuel for making our evening unforgettable!
We found this awesome place on our way to NC and it was awesome, excellent service, great food, beautiful place, looking forward to go back sometime again.
This is a ridiculous restaurant that charges 200 dollars for canceling reservations... We made a reservation for Mother's Day and immediately called and canceled our reservation. When we talked to someone on the phone, she said there won't be any charges because we called right after. This is not NYC Michelin restaurant... I've lived in big cities and went to many restaurants and never ever been in this situation... The person answered my phone call was too aggressive. I've heard food isn't that great. Julep Farms is a beautiful venue and location. As we drove up to the market, our first impression was that no detail was over looked in the design and planning of the venue, so we were a bit taken aback when we experienced a total lack of customer service when we walked into the market. We stopped by Julep Farms after visiting Highlands, NC where we were greeted at every store by at least one employee.
