This beautiful house was a great venue for our college friend-group reunion. The glass/screen enclosed wrap around porch that encircles three sides of the house including a dining table seating 16 with amazing views if the water was especially wonderful, as were the expansive lawn facing the water with Adirondack chairs for peaceful enjoyment of the beautiful view and the large, extremely well-stocked kitchen including extra-large refrigerator, freezer, and six-burner stove. Great communications with friendly staff. Amazing house— going to be difficult to top this location.
The property was easy to get to, clean, well maintained and very well supplied with all of the basics for daily cooking/cleaning. The area is extremely quiet and relaxing. There is a small hiking area just a few hundred feet down the road and several others scattered throughout the island. There is a public boat launch to the Back River on the south end of the island as well. This was our second booking through Cottage Connection. They are wonderful to deal with. In both cases, they've responded to my inquiry with several options for rentals that met our criteria. I will definitely call on them again
