Such a cute little place with excellent food! The desserts are to die for!
My son and I spent a morning at the library, so we walked across the street to the cottage cafe for lunch. The inside smelled so badly of smoke that we sat outside, even in the heat. We ordered a BLT and I asked for it to be warmed since I am pregnant. It came out cold with clearly no attempt to warm it up. The server said they ‘did their best.’ We went to the bathroom while we were there. To get to the bathroom you have to walk to the back of the shop which made me wish we hadn’t ordered anything. A quaint café where you're treated to a wholesome welcoming and what is easily the second closest thing to a home-cooked meal. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable about their dishes. And the atmosphere rings something close to a garden party. Whether you're there for the food, the attached Bed and Breakfast, or si ply a place to read, the inside/outside seating are both sure to welcome you. And if you're unable to dine in, then order and delivery are both a phone call away!
