My cat went in for a dental cleaning/procedure earlier this year and I couldn’t be more pleased with the amazing staff and Dr. Borlik! As a first time pet owner I felt extremely comfortable asking questions and valued when receiving realistic feedback. I totally recommend this vet to anyone considering!
Our dog just had surgery here and that’s what prompted me to review. We’ve been coming to Cottage Animal Clinic for around 5 years now and can confidently say we will never go anywhere else. We've been taking our pets to Cottage for at least 5 years. We love Dr. Greg and the wonderful staff. But when I took our new dog in today, the situation turn a drastic turn. I was meant with judgment oh so you got another one. Ted does not look the best and when he had fleas more judgment followed. I felt like a bad pet owner who didn't care for our pets. I'm not one to do this, but after sitting on these feelings for the past couple of weeks, I feel it's important to share my poor experience. My dog (now 2 dogs) have been going to Cottage Animal Clinic for 6 years now. I have found certain support staff members lacking in friendliness, but have generally dismissed it since we've had a very easy time getting scheduled and have had a good experience with Dr. Borlik. I have unfortunately had multiple experiences with this clinic that I felt the need to share. I have taken my elderly cat here multiple times and they seem to never treat what I’m actually bringing her for. The first time she had a URI and they gave her an antibiotic that only treats skin infections. When her URI got worse I called to make another appointment but they told me there was no reason to bring her and to just give it a couple days.
