Went to Dr. Coté after waiting over a year to get into. I was told by my first doctor that once I see him it will be for surgery since he has everything needed. After seeing him he wanted to prescribe me medications, more scans and tests. He didn’t even give me a date for surgery. Huge waste of time dealing with this doctor. Please look elsewhere you will not regret it.
Terrible. More concerned about covering themselves than your health. Would not go even a millimeter nevermind a mile to help with a potentially serious issue. Spoke with 2 different people on the same day and got the same PFO type attitude. Seems to be a systemic problem and consistent with other reviews and the less than stellar 3.7 rating (based on my recent experience, the 3.7 is far to generous). Go somewhere else where they might actually care about helping people or maybe even pretend to care at the very least.
Dr. Cote is one of the worst doctors I have been to. In 2008, he misdiagnosed my impending Optic Neuritis as he did not take the time to really examine me. Instead he was arranging his golf game for the weekend during my examination. The following day, I lost the vision in that eye. His carelessness caused me damage, although I recovered later.
