This doctor is obviously quite efficient and demonstrates a strong grasp of his skills. The biggest drawback is office organization. Waiting an hour and a half for a ten minute visit doesn't seem too considerate to the patients - especially as so many are elderly. It's not that hard to organize time around each patient.

I had cataract surgery on August 18 and 25, 2024. Dr. Patrick Costello and his staff were fantastic. I had opted for the laser assist which was a great choice. I was nervous about someone doing something to my eyes. He and his staff were comforting, friendly and professional. Both surgeries were so fast. My time in the Rome Surgery was so quick I couldn't believe how fast I was in and out of there. Dr Patrick’s is a 5+ in all aspects. Removed my very bad dense cataracts. I know only need. Reading glasses. I have worn glasses since 1980. What a great Man. His staff in wonderful also

Dr. John Costello Jr. Did a great job of removing cataracts and inserting a glaucoma drain in my left eye. I was very stressed about the whole procedure, but the staff at the Rome Surgery Center put me at ease and all went very well. I would highly recommend Dr Costello and his staff at the Rome Surgery Center.

Last month I had the greatest experience when I was referred to Dr. Costello for cataract surgery. I was nervous in the beginning but after my consultation with him I became relieved and relaxed and felt I had made the correct choice. He is very professional, confident and friendly, as is his staff. I can now see everything, even close reading, etc. without any glasses. I recently had cataract surgery, and I was amazed at the staff from the time of finding out I needed it done. Dr Patrick Costello explained everything, there were no questions they didn't answer, put any fears to rest. I would highly recommend him.
