On January 16, 2026, around 3:20 PM, the receipt checker at the Pooler store (name tag starting with “K”) did not acknowledge my greeting. After checking my receipt, she returned it with a hand wave and a disgusted facial expression. As a Korean customer, I felt humiliated and unwelcome. This behavior felt discriminatory. Great deals, especially on gas!
2 cashier lanes open? 1 employee, uses a remote scanner and scans in all my items after I show membership card for the second. Another employee who was assisting the main cashier, counts my items again. I finally get to register, show my membership card yet again, 3 times so far and yes my items are checked and counted for the third time. Then I finally get to pay. THEN, there is 20 customer wait just to get out the door, because somehow out of hundreds of employees working today, they can only manage to pay one poor elderly... read more
