The employees racially profile customers by opening their purses and checking inside while scanning their items, without any reasoning. I do not feel comfortable supporting a corporation that allows staff to racially profile people of color. The negligence is very alarming especially since this happened the day after Juneteenth. Honestly, I choose Costco because I love the business model. One of the few big, publicly traded companies that don't seem to feel the need to extract every penny of profit from their customers. They have had the same $1.50 hot dog for years for crying out loud. Add to this that they treat their employees well and you have a winner in my book.
