Booked an eye exam on their appointment website. Couldn't choose which eye doctor to see. We got Dr Ngui and she's friendly. The appt started right on time and took 10 min to check vision. Then the dilating eye drops were applied and we had to wait 10 min for it to take effect, then more testing was done (they shine a light in your eyes to view it clearly and do a bit more vision testing). I only regret not coming here for my progressive glasses sooner. The whole experience from eye exam to picking out frames and lens were great, efficient, and most cost effective. I bought two pairs- one for computer work and the other for driving and general purposes. Just picked up the driving pair yesterday and this is the best progressive pair I've ever had. I can finally see properly with ease and comfort. Everyone there is professional!
In BC seniors with a care card may have an eye exam once a year billed to MSP. I was told the optometrists at Costco charge around $75.00 per exam - no exceptions even if a retinal scan is not required - only a Rx for eye lenses correction.
