I have had positive experiences with getting prescription eyeglasses from the Ancaster location. Recently the pair of frames I chose were not comfortable despite having them adjusted a couple times. They were too heavy on my nose. I anxiously went back to Costco to discuss and was so relieved to have been served by Michael. He offered the choice of another adjustment or as I was hoping the choice to get a more suitable frame. He reviewed my file and prescription. So I am giving three stars because the optometry assistant was excellent and very friendly. The eye doctor was fine as well but did give me a prescription which was too strong. My main complaint was they did the cataract test and I had no idea what that entailed or that the eye drops would make me completely unable to see for a few hours. I was stuck sitting in the office waiting until I could see and it made me very uncomfortable to be in a waiting room like that with my eyes open but the lights being bright, people walking... read more
As a loyal customer the level of rudeness I just received on a phone call with the optometrist was disgusting. I even got cut off when asking how she was doing. She wasn’t helpful and just plain rude I will NEVER go here again and would tell others to stay clear of this place!
