After reading all of the negative reviews of the optometrist I almost went somewhere else. I went in as a walk in appointment and was able to get one within 15 minutes, just luck and not their fault if they can't fit you in quickly. It was a normal eye exam and contact lens fitting. The Dr. took the time to discuss the issues with my eyes, pros and cons of multi focal lenses and contacts. Overall a positive experience. I'd ignore the whiney reviews. Dr. Josh Phu Lam was very helpful and informative during our appointment. He took his time explaining my vision and answered any questions I had. The exam was thorough and had no issues with scheduling. I would highly recommend going to him.

I had an excellent experience with Costco Vallejo’s new optometry team. Dr. Josh Phu Lam was very thorough in assessing my eye health and took the time to carefully study and explain my eye status in a way that was easy to understand. I truly appreciated the amount of patient teaching provided, which helped me feel informed and confident about my eye care decisions. Optometrist got my prescription completely wrong and also missed important details about my vision. The experience was so bad I had to drive to Napa Costco for a second opinion. The Napa Costco optometrist was amazing. This guy at Vallejo needs to retire because it feels as if he hates his job. Extremely impatient attitude during the entire exam.
