I always purchase my tires and batteries from Costco. I recently moved into the area so naturally I would do my shopping at the Oakbrook location. I ordered a battery and waited over a week for them to tell me they just out of stock. Went to Mount Prospect since it’s close to work and walked out with a new battery. Gave Oakbrook another chance and bought a set of new tires. I told them I needed new TPMS put on the new tires with the non working TPMS. Overall a good experience. They showed me where to order the tires I needed online, I did a lot of research on my own before hand so I knew exactly what I wanted (Michelin Cross Climate2 are all season and 3 snow peak rated for fantastic winter driving), they installed it professionally it looks like, the deal for the tires were AMAZING at only $858 for the full set, and overall I'm satisfied. My only downside is that they said it would take 1 hour and 20 minutes at MOST but I ended up waiting and having to smell their works... read more
This tyre shop is terrible I brought my car for a tire rotation and balancing and they refused to do the rotation because of safety and then did my balancing absolutely wrong, on top of it the lug nuts on the wheels weren’t tight This place is unsafe and I won’t leave the car to those mechanics Absolutely incompetent and they just don’t want to work on your car The management of Costco needs to look into who are they hiring there as mechanics
