If you value your car or have relatively new wheels, DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR for a tire job to Costco, Kennewick WA. I had three of my wheels come back scratched in the similar spot after a tire change (unfortunately I found this out a couple days later as I was not expecting damages). We stopped in for a torque check as we had tires installed at another Costco a week ago. The gentleman noticed that while the lug nuts torqued to spec, one tire was low. Being accustomed to driving older cars with tpms sensors that I havent bothered to calibrate, i had ignored our tire pressure warning light (it’s always on in the tundra and the Prius!) My husband thought that we needed new tires. We bought new tires at Costco and made an appointment for installation. While we were shopping we received a call from the tire center. The wonderful tire center representative said that we didn't need new tires! She said that our tires had plenty of, "life ", left! We received a refund for the tires. What honest, thoughtful people work there!
