Extremely disappointed with Costco Tire Centre. About a month ago, I made a reservation for a tire change scheduled for today. I dropped off my vehicle early, only to be informed later that they would not perform the service because the new tires I brought in had a size that was "not OEM" and exceeded their strict 3% variation policy. My current winter tires are 275/55 R20, and I was replacing them with my own summer tires, which are 275/60 R20 — both Continental brand. Had an appointment at Noon was told it would be an hour to and hour and a half. We waited 3 hours before service was completed. We were initially charged around $50 for a seasonal change, however later charged an additional $30 as the tires were purchased elsewhere (they came with the vehicle). The little savings were not worth having to sit there for 3+ hours.
I wished I took these reviews more seriously - terrible reviews on Google are justified. Costco Tire Center damaged my steering wheel and denied the claim. Initial interaction with customer service at the reception was horrendous and rude even though I waited patiently and greeted them when they finally showed up. Since they couldn't find anything from the CCTV cameras, I'm expecting they damaged my vehicle out of malicious intent because Costco will not even take responsibility for their incompetence.
