Made an appointment at week prior to getting my tires and rims done. 7 cars before, I told them do tje sensors and then went shopping. Came back and was told $350 extra for sensore and they waited to call me for an hour to tell me that. So had to wait another hour and half. Customer Service (front desk) was very rude and told me I didn't answer my phone. For the amount of.money I spent I thought I was saving here but in the end paid way more with rude customer service and wasted 2.5 hours. Total disrespect and attitude.
Tire department never answer the phones. Since last rotation one tire slowly leak air. Now I have to pump tire more before I go to Costco to make an appointment. What about if tire has too low pressure while I drive to Costco, It can destroy tire. In this case I have to use spare donut and drive to Costco to make an appointment. It is very bad for me not to make appointment on the phone what I need the most.
Beware if you only purchase two tires! I am a huge Costco shopper and have purchased many tires from them. This most recent time (Nov. 2024) I only purchased two tires with the intent to purchase two more in six months or so as the other two were still in decent shape. I told them I wanted the two front tires replaced, they explained that they only put new tires on the rear. This was discussed both when I purchased them and when I went for the appointment. Got a good price on new tires but they refused to put them on my rims/car because they weren’t the same tire my car came with from the factory. My car came with runflats but switched to conventional. I Had to go to another business and pay an additional 200$ to have the tires put on my rims. Most ridiculous policy I’ve ever heard of. The customer should be able to choose any comparable tire for their own car.
