Just this year, I’ve bought full sets of tires for two of our cars and had two subsequent rotation and balances. Not once has completed in the time they provided. All of the tire rotations have taken almost two hours, and every time I’ve been told it’s because they had an issue with the cars before mine. Of all the things at this particular Costco, the tire center is just annoying to deal with. The length of time it took to get the tires in was ridiculous. If that was the only issue, fine. However, after a two hour install I had to come back the next day because the tires were out of balance. The folks at the desk told me they couldn't take the vehicle in that day and I'd have to make and appointment. Came back the next day, and was told it would take an hour to balance the tires. I checked on the vehicle after an hour and they hadn't even started working on it. It would have cost me $300 extra to get the same tire... read more

Another negative experience at a Costco tire center. They are definitely the dogs of the brand. I showed up at 10 for a 10:45 tire rotation appointment. Alex seemed upset that I would get there that early. She explained that, because my appointment was at 10:45, the work wouldn't start until then. I returned to the counter at 11:15. Alex indicated that they were working on the vehicle. I told her I can see it in the parking lot. She then said that they were pulling it in and my appointment was from 10:45 to 11:30. Took almost 2 weeks to get the tires (nothing special about the tires I bought) and was told 2-3 days. Once they came in I never received a call to let me know. Once I made my appointment it took over 2 1/2 hrs and was told under an hour and a half. I might’ve saved a few $$ but definitely will not buy tires from Costco in the future.

Went to the tire center today to replace my tires that were clearly under warranty and the Manager Gabriel tried to deny my request and did not want to be helpful in any way. According to another location, and the website, my tires should be replaced. Even the lovely girl helping me said this was a brand new thing. I would highly recommend going a different location.
