Made an appointment to replace two tires for 4:45. I arrived at 4:40, and at 6:30 my car was still not ready. I used to work as a flat rate technician, and replacing two tires takes 25 minutes max. Don’t go here unless you have a few hours to spare sitting around Costco.
I bought new tires from Costco in winter. Days after they were replaced, my tire light came on. My pressure got so low I had to call triple A. I took it back into them and they filled it up, turned my tire light off, and said it was fine. Sure enough, a week later my light is on again. They blow it back up and then realize there's been a hole in it the entire time. They "repaired" that tire. Today (2 months after brand new tires), my tire was flat as a pancake. Totally disappointing and frustrating — the Tire Department is not up to the high standard set by all other departments at this, and other, Costco stores. The tire department seldom answers their phone; when you walk in often there isn’t a representative at the desk for up to 10 minutes, and on top of that they are flat out rude. You would think a tire center run by Costco would be the pinnacle of great customer service and quality, right? Well guess what, you'd be dead wrong. Brought my car here on a Saturday and was told it may not be ready until Tuesday. OK fine. Come Wednesday, nobody calls me to say anything. I called them (took about 10 tries because nobody answers the freaking phone!!!!). Finally get through to somebody to be told this will require two new tires and they will need to be ordered. Useless, how are these people changing tires? I have had my car for over five years, every time I come here they keep saying there’s a cross thread on one of the bolts which is completely inaccurate. I drive a Kia Rio, I took it to Kia. They confirmed Costco, again.don’t know what they’re talking about.
