If you’re looking for fast service, this isn’t your stop. Had an appointment for a rotation and balance. Quoted an 1-1.5 hrs, been here for 2 hrs and counting.
On Friday, January 3rd, 2025, I had a 7 PM appointment at Tire Center for a tire repair. I arrived early at 6:45 PM and was seen at 6:55 PM. Despite the wait, no one informed me that they were behind schedule. At 8 PM, I discovered my car hadn't even been taken into the shop yet. I was eventually told my tire couldn't be repaired and needed replacement, but I wasn't given adequate options or time to consider them due to the late hour. Good deals on tires, but had too many visits to get my tires checked and replaced. I recently had to replace two tires and they can’t seem to get them balanced properly and have unusual tire wear after minimal driving. It’s also a hit or miss with the staff and service. Will continue to shop at Costco, but done with the tire “service” center.
I went to the tire shop and Kevin E at the tire shop Helped me and pretty much saved my holidays. He has such good service and energy. I shop at Costco a lot and people like Kevin are why I come back week after week. I really hope someone recognizes this guy for how awesome he is. Beware warranty not honored. After the last 4 oil changes/rotations (40k miles over ~2yrs) we were told that one tire was bad. We would then go to Costco Tire (Tempe location) where we purchased tires to tell them what the service provider said about the tire. Until today Costco said the tire was fine. Now they say that the tire is bad and they will not honor the warranty (20k miles remain) due to it being an alignment issue.
