I arrived here at 9 am to either repair a tire with a nail in it or replace the front tires as they are somewhat worn. I went into the Cosco store as they said they would call me once they looked at the tire. Never called. At 12:35 I questioned why my car was never even brought in. I had to keep asking. I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I was very disappointed with my experience at the Costco Tire Center on Lantana today. I arrived at 9:00 AM with a flat tire and was told that tire repairs required an appointment, so I was scheduled for 2:30 PM. I returned at 2:15 PM for my appointment and checked in as instructed. The service was for a punctured tire that I purchased from Costco. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I did not leave until approximately 4:34 PM—more than two hours after my appointment time. I have been a member for a long time and don't know why the tire department has gotten so horrible especially the rude technicians. The tire warranty means absolutely nothing these days. Every time I get a hole in my tire they need to replace it and ALWAYS find a way to not honor the warranty and I end up paying almost the price of a new tire. One time when the tire was a week old. The Costco Tire Center at the Lantana store is great. Excellent service with an appointment especially Tire rotation and balance. Prices are competitive with Tire Rack but CS is superior. Have always purchased the OE Michelin and OE Bridgestone tires for mine and wife two Lexus and never had any issues. These guys bust their butt, especially in the heat so everyone that complains, please give them a break. Jean has always been knowledgeable and polite, answers all your questions.
