An interesting experience with Joey at Costco Tire Center. He was patient in explaining everything until the purchase and rude while returning the car. I asked for clarification - he responds "its in document" rudely, and not even trying to brief, etc. It was understandable if there was a rush, but no one was in store. I generally had good experience at Costcos and previous interaction with others. This ONE special STAR is for Joey.
Bought expensive tires about 18k ago. Since then I have had 3 tire replacements on the outside of my tire including one right after I left and drove to kohls next to cotsco I noticed a huge bulge in the tire. They wanted me to pay for it. Then the first time they told me i was to late for my appt and wouldn't do it that day when I was 3 mins late so I had to get the general manager. First let me prefis this with I'm a car guy that HAS mounted and balanced tires in my 35+ years working on cars (but I simply don't own or have access to your machines currently.) So I dismounted my (2) rims and tires off of an AWD Ford Flex since I have a blowout on some pretty new tires I wanted to change them as a pair. First response "you're supposed to change all 4 in an AWD vehicle"..... As much as I'd love to throw away 3 perfectly good tires I'll pass and explained AGAIN that one blew out.
