I will not use Costco Tire Center again. Twice now I have taken two of my vehicles in for a tire rotation and balance. They refused to do it explaining my tires were low on thread and I must buy new tires. Twice now on two different vehicles I checked the thread and the tires were good with plenty of life left in them. They also refused to repair a tire leak with the excuse they won't repair a leak if the thread is low. Horrible experience. Costco Tire Center basically sells old unused tires as new. I bought a set of 4 tires from Costco to install in late March '25, but I was surprised to find out that 3 tires were already 7 months old, and 1 tire was over 16 months old. According to a Costco Tire Center service rep at the Willowbrook location, any tire with DOT code less than 3 years old is considered "NEW" per their corp policy.
