I set an appointment to have a Costco purchased tire repaired. Upon arrival, I was told it would take 1.5 to 2 hours to repair a single tire. Supervisor on duty couldn't have cared less and showed no empathy at all.
Bought new BF Goodrich tires from Costco Durham Tire Center in March 2022; they now have 33,000 miles on them. When I took the car in for routine rotate/balance they tried to scam me, said a tire with a slow leak could not be fixed, then said ALL the tires needed to be replaced and except for one with the leak said **my car** had voided the warranty. To be clear: Replacing 4 tires would cost more than $800. I took the car to another local tire dealer who fixed the leak and saw no problem with the other tires. Buyer beware.
Bought BF Goodrich tires from Costco in March 2022. Have kept them rotated, balanced, and inflated; they only have 33,000 miles on them. Today took car in for routine tire care and to check a slow leak in one tire. Costco says leak (nail) can't be fixed but will happily sell me a new tire, then went into a long story about how I really need 4. No part of the warranty will apply. What a ripoff. Shame on them. This is the first time a Costco service has been bad, I love everything Costco in general (the workers are usually top notch), but this Tire Center is just not good. The workers are sloppy, they broke off a sensor in my car, then were bad at communicating about when the sensor would be ordered/arrive, then lied to my face 3 times saying that we initiated the sensor being replaced, then charged me to replace the sensor because suddenly two sensors were broken.
