Horrible wait times with Costco tires, had to wait for 30+ minutes before disconnecting to talk to the tire service. In another instance, for the flat type of repair, they have denied repairing the flat tire but said, the nail is too deep and can't repair but need to change the 2 tires. Had to take it to Tyresplus and they have repaired it. Costco tire service at Frederick, MD is horrible.
I made an appointment to have my tires rotated at 7 pm. They did not bring the car in to the garage until 8:30. I noticed that two people, who had come in after me (and had full sets of tires put on) were done at least 30 minutes before me. I’ll never go back…
Bought 4 batteries from Costco in the last 10 years it never lasts 3 years always dies within 2. Always swap it out no problem and pay the difference since the battery price always goes up. Usually about $10 or $15. This battery I bought in July of 25. Today I tried to start my car for work and it was dead. Also was boiled over on top with battery acid everywhere. I might cancel my membership after 20 years based on my experience here. I came here when the tire shop opened just to make sure I could take care of a flat tire before work. PJ spent 10 minutes on the phone while two of us were waiting, seeming to chat more than stick to business. Multiple other Costco workers walked in and out without offering to help. Service is much worse than at a Discount Tire or similar. Zero acknowledgment of my even existing.
Absolutely never coming back here for service. Didn’t screw my lugnuts back on properly after getting new tires here and cost me so much in repairs afterwards, still not compensated for these expenses 5 MONTHS LATER after they told me they would look into it. One person will tell you something and another person will tell you something completely different. I love Costco, but this is one of the most scummy, lousy auto centers that I’ve ever been to.
