I had a scheduled appointment and drove 30 minutes to get there. Once there, they informed me that I'd have to reschedule for a week later because my insurance only allows "once per calendar year" and it "hasn't quite been a year yet." I tried to explain to them what a CALENDAR year meant, and they were extremely rude and unprofessional. I had my prescription from my eye doctor but was looking for more affordable glasses, and Andrea at Costco’s Eye Department was incredible. She patiently walked me through what my insurance would cover and explained how the styles and sizing were organized among the sample glasses. She encouraged me to take my time and let her know if I had any questions, which made the process feel completely stress-free.
