Food was fantastic. We haven’t been there in a couple of years because the service was lacking before. Food was always good. This time, they obviously stepped up their game. Loved it!
I discovered this restaurant after trying their rice balls (arancini) at Rockford’s Festa Italiana, and they were simply perfect! Since they only make them during that time of year, my husband and I decided to visit the restaurant so we could enjoy them again before they were gone. The service was excellent, and we absolutely loved the atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes from the menu!
Where do I start? Well my husband and I drove 30 minutes to come and try this restaurant for the first time. And hours stated online they open at 4:00 pm. Got there at 4:00 and were told they were catering an event. They will open at 4:30. Went back at 4:30 and were told maybe they will open at 5:00 well guess what? We left and will not return. Thanks for nothing. Maybe if your not organized you should change your hours online!
Classic Italian restaurant, it's never been quite busy when I've been here. The food is decent, the fried calamari was good but the portion was very small for the price. The pasta my daughter had was good, and my calzone was so/so. Will eventually come back if we have a knack for eating Italian and we're in the area.
Costa's catered our daughter's wedding reception and the food was great. Many guest complimented us on the food and there was more than enough. Costa's also handled the beverages and again, it was great.
