I purchased my property with them in 2017 . Everything was fine until my neighbor came over and said that I don’t own all the land they told me. I had put a claim on my title insurance company and they investigated and said that I owed everything that said in my deed , but the problem is that is an other title recorded. I have to say, this is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had with Dess- a Senior Level Manager. She was so rude and dishonest on multiple occasions. When I needed to speak to her about an important tax related matter that her direct report couldn’t answer, she lied and told me she was sick and couldn’t talk when her direct report told me she was in a meeting 15 minutes before. As an investor I would always recommend Cosmopolitan Title. Yahaira and Dess are the best to work with. I have done more than 200 transactions in the past 5 years and there is no better title company than this one. They specialize in investment properties and their knowledge and professionalism is hands down the best. I had very difficult cases with title issues (trust, liens) due to the type of houses I buy, and other title companies couldn't close those deals because they didn't know how to solve it. Please be advised that this title company will definitely put your clients in a bind. My seller closed and they forgot to add the seller credit until the day after closing and change the numbers after settlement by $8,000 dollars. They used an excuse that it was system glitch. Then hours later they forgot to add an admin fee and contact my client to mail money back to them because of their mistake. Use at your own risk!!!!!!!
