I visited Cosmo Prof in Wayne, NJ (23 Unit B) looking for hair dyes. The girl who assisted us was very kind and helped us find the color we needed, which we appreciated. However, when it came time to pay, the manager and cashier refused to complete the purchase, claiming we didn’t have a physical ID, even though we have cosmetology licenses as students and future professionals. I was shocked and offended by the way I was treated at this store. I arrived before closing time, was already inside, and had products in hand ready to purchase. When I approached the cashier, she asked if I had an account. I explained that I have one with Salon Centric, who recommended this store to me, and I even offered to show my license.
